Members of the UK-MENA Network participated in a delegation to the Kingdom of Oman. This initiative was organised by the UK-MENA Network in collaboration with the Oxford Diplomacy Society and made possible by the generosity of the British-Omani Society.

Members of the UK-MENA Network were welcomed to London Central Mosque by Dr Ahmed Al-Dubayan, Director General, who introduced them to the history of the mosque and its dual function as a place of worship and a culture centre.

Members of the UK-MENA Network had the opportunity to engage in intimate dialogue with experts on the region working in peace, diplomacy, security and economics at St John’s College, Oxford.

The UK-MENA Network organised an international delegation to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Members had the opportunity to meet government officials, opposition figures, and visit NGOs. This was possible due to the generosity of the Jordanian Tourism Board.
